Activating Your Service and What to Expect Next
Once you choose a plan through the portal and top up your account, your PBX service becomes active — usually within minutes. Here’s a step-by-step look at what happens next and how you can start using the system right away.
1. Service Confirmation
After your payment is confirmed, you’ll get a notification in your dashboard and/or email confirming that your plan is now active.
If not already done, you’ll be assigned:
A PBX username
A SIP login (for app or desk phone access)
Access to your web phone (sent via email or visible in the portal dashboard)
If you prefer a browser-based option:
Use the link provided after activation
No need to install anything
Just log in and start calling
📝 Note: The web phone is separate from the main PBX portal and becomes available only after a plan is activated.
Use the login credentials to:
Download and install the ChoiceCloud PBX softphone (for desktop or mobile)
Log in and make a test call to confirm it’s working
Once you’re logged in:
Your assigned PBX number becomes active
You can make calls to local and international numbers (based on your plan)
Incoming calls will ring on all devices where you’re logged in
